DIGITAL ICCD CAMERA C8780
WITH HIGH-SPEED ELECTRONIC SHUTTER
BUILT-IN IEEE1394 INTERFACE
OVER VIEW
The C8780 is a high-resolution digital ICCD (intensified
CCD) camera incorporating a GaAsP photocathode image
intensifier capable of high-speed electronic shutter operation.
Along with high sensitivity in the visible range, the C8780
allows digital signal connection with virtually no image degra-
dation and uses a CCD with square pixels eliminating the
need to convert the aspect ratio when processing images
with a PC.
The image output interface on the C8780 is a high-
performance serial bus (IEEE1394 standard). Image acquisi-
tion and all functions can be controlled with equipped soft-
ware.
Acquired images can be freely processed and enhanced with
commercially available software. Image data are sent in a
non-compressed format to a PC.
The C8780 is ideal for industrial and scientific measurement
applications requiring high-precision image data.
