arithmetic math whiz. The Hifn 6500 tears through
1024 and 2048-list RSA private key computations,
and sets the largest number of secure connections

The Hifn 6500 provides all the
tools necessary to accelerate
your time to market, and contains
all the peripherals necessary for
public key processing. Truly
random numbers are a
cryptographic essential, so the
Hifn 6500 includes a built-in
random number generator that reduces chip count
and insures that the numbers used to calculate
encryption keys are completely unpredictable.
The 6500 produces random numbers from the
unpredictable phase relation of internal oscillators,
which means these numbers cannot be guessed
by an attacker.
In addition, the 6500 provides an on-chip PCI
controller as well as a direct 32-bit streaming data
communication port.
The 6500 is an excellent match with our 7000-
series symmetric key encryption accelerators and
IPSECure toolkit, with field-tested source code for
IPSEC, IKE and ISAKMP implementations.
Complete, Proven Solution Suite
The valuable 6500 API software is available with a
reference kit, containing software documentation,
data sheets and application notes. Hifn also offers a
hardware reference board for evaluating the 6500
chip and API to reduce customer's time to market.
