The LT ser ies high speed Diode Limiters (receiv
er protectors) are used
at the input of sensiti
v e receiv ers in order to protect them against acci

dental b urnout caused
b y high levels of CW or pulsed p
o wer. Most mod -
els are b uilt i n "air free" solid dielectr ic str iplin e, and can there
f ore handle
high values of high po wer.

Notes:
1. See Figure 1 f or limited definition.
2. Limiters having higher peak and
a ver age po wer capacity can be supplied.
3. Peak po wer specified is
f or 10
s pulse width f or frequencies to 2 GHz and

4. If a narr ow frequency bandwidth is required KDI/
T riangle can supply a unit
that is electr ically optimized f or that bandwidth. Mechanical dimensions will
remain the same as the standard unit, and the pr
ice will gener ally be lo wer.
Specify the frequency
r ange when orde
r ing a narrow bandwidth model and
a special pa
r t number will be assigned.
5. To insure full limiting the applied RF po wer should e xceed 100
w atts peak
or 30% of the maxim um peak po wer rating.
